What if the journey you fear the most is the one that would set you free?
Once upon a timeless now, in the aftermath of a deep period of grief in my life, a story was seeded within me by a healing phrase given to me in a dream: deep water leaf.
As I set out to explore what it means to be a deep water leaf, the tale of Alora and her fall from the Dreaming Tree became my answer. And that is how Fallen came to be. It is the journey of a soul who chooses to fall, to forget, and to find her way back to herself.
It is Alora’s story, but also my own, and maybe in some ways yours as well, for the themes laid out in this allegory are universal.
Fallen
the adventures of a deep water leaf
Fallen reads like a dream you’ve had before but couldn’t quite remember.
Simple on the surface, it holds layers of meaning and bottomless depths.
Let it take you on a journey through fear toward love, guided by creatures who are not what they first appear, toward a truth that was always there.
It is time to awaken. It is time to remember.
A visionary tale for seekers of all ages, in the tradition of The Alchemist, Jonathan Livingston Seagull, and The Little Prince. Dive into the world of Fallen and let it lead you home.
